PUSH Forward - John Bosco

Name and surname: John Adesina
Age: 26
occupation: CEO, PUSH Foundation.
·
·         When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? Like every other child, I wanted a Pilot.

What is your favorite quote and why? Nothing is impossible. I never dreamt of advocating for the poor. I didn't even plan founding an NGO. It just happened along the way and I found myself PUSHing it hard.

·         Tell us about your proudest non-work achievement.
To the glory of God, I have fed more than 300, clothed more than 1000, empowered nothing less than 20 people in Nigeria.

·         Which best describes you and why? morning person or a night owl? I feel refreshed any time I see the breaking of the day. I'm a morning person. I achieve more in the morning.

·         What has been your greatest lesson so far? I have learnt to fervently do the natural and give room for God to do the supernatural.
·         What projects are you currently involved in and what do you hope it achieves? Feed and cloth the needy (on going) & war against child abuse (about to launch it).

The two projects are initiatives of PUSH Foundation. The welfare program is meant to reduce poverty and give hope to the hopeless.
The campaign is sensitize the world about the dangers of abusing a child and STOP this insane act.

What is the one thing you wish you were really good at? Singing! I manage my church choir but I can't sing. You can imagine! (Laughs) I love to worship... I really wish I have that angelic voice that can bring down the host of heaven.

·         If you are to point out one of your flaws, which one would it be and why? Can't figure out anyone at the moment.

·         What is your greatest quality? I am pushful (Laughs)

·         Any closing words: Be yourself! Either you run from pillar to pole or pole to pillar, what will be will be.
