Change is difficult for most people because it requires more effort than what they are used to.
Stepping out of our comfort zone to do something that we are not used to brings so many questions and doubts into our minds.
I always ask "what would you lose if you simply try?"
Why don't you want to give it a shot?
Are you afraid?
Are you lazy?
Are you doubting yourself?
What is the real reason why you don't want to try?
Many times we are so full of excuses and in our minds our excuses make so much sense to us that no one and nothing can ever convince us other wise. But at the end of the day,
It is always one of two things:
Fear Or Laziness.
To have an extraordinary life you have to be willing to do things out of the ordinary to you.
The most important aspect of doing what you are doing is that you get to help someone out there
When you show up & do that thing that you do.
It will impact someone in a way that you don't even know.
Even if it is just to plant a seed in their mind that helps them act/think/ move better in life.
It is significant.
It is important.
It is part of your purpose.
We limit ourselves so much of the time with our thoughts because to the core of it:
we go as far as we think we can go.
And if you think you can't go far, you won't because your actions won't bring the results of something you haven't thought of,
not being willing to try already sets you back as such a disadvantage.
We have to be willing to try and fail.
Get up and try again.
When we were young we wanted to explore so much.
Try everything.
See everything.
And with this we learned so much. We didn't let anything hold us back not even our failures
Like learning how to walk as a baby.
The fear of failure is so deeply rooted in our beings that we don't even want to try at all and see the outcome.
When a baby is learning how to walk and keeps falling down:
They don't think "maybe walking is not my calling. This walking thing doesn't seem to be working our for me, let me just sit here forever"
They don't give up, and from walking to running to jumping to skipping and doing cartwheels and so many other things
That child- person will keep going
So many examples of people who have no limbs and are climbing mountains and doing the most amazing things most of us are too scared or lazy to try
We let our excuses stop us
So tell me, why won't you give it a shot?
Be stubborn about your goal, but flexible about your methods.
"In school we learn that mistakes are bad, and we are punished for making them. Yet, if you look at the way humans are designed to learn, we learn by making mistakes. We learn to walk by falling down. If we never fell down, we would never walk." - Robert T. Kiyosaki: Rich Dad, Poor dad.
“Winners are not afraid of losing. But losers are. Failure is part of the process of success. People who avoid failure also avoid success.”
