Blogging 101: Being Original

The number one hurdle that most people face when they want to embark on a journey of publishing or creating, is originality.

Questions come to mind that makes you doubt yourself and ultimately your project, (or in this case blog.)

So many people are doing this already, what can I do that's different?
Is it good enough?
Is it even relevant?
Am I saying anything new? etc

So many of us have learnt that originality is kind of a front. There's nothing new under the sun, and this is so true. What is also true is no one can do it like you and that's the most important aspect of originality, you being your true yourself.

The confidence you need to begin is to believe in yourself. Believe that no one can offer what you are offering, the way that you do it. Your style is appealing to someone and they will find you as long as you are consistent with your craft and you offer the best value that you can.

One tip to guarantee that your audience keeps growing to be honest and also to give real value for their time. Depending on your field, you know what that means to you and what you need to do to accomplish that.

A second tip is to try to answer as many questions on your topic as possible that you think your audience might have. Treat yourself as your audience and see how that works for you.

Be genuine and be true to you.

Your style is no one looks like you, talks like you, thinks like you and shares like you.
