About to drop his second mixtape, which his second project under the Twenty Two Entertainment record label, Hitjivirue Katjatenja, better known as Skrypt said he is very excited and cannot reveal much about the project just yet.
The twenty-one year old upcoming artist stated, “I like to keep it as authentic as possible and I live a fairly basic life so my content doesn't stretch too far.” on inspirations He commented, “I rap about my drive in different aspects of my life, I rap about how I feel about the world and sometimes I bask in my lyrical ability.”
He is refreshingly truthful when he stated that in the beginning his goal was first and foremost for the money. An aspect most artists refrain from discussing or would probably deny claiming passion and love drove them to their goals.
Skrypt “My goal going into music was to make money in all honesty, however the more I've come to love the art the more I just want people to hear it.
“People call it conscious rap but I just call it Hip Hop. I don't know a better way to describe it.” He explained. Saying that his approach to his works for the most part he sticks to what he knows, but as far as the type of beats he is able to work on is mostly Hip Hop. “Either with some nice vocal samples or a very 90's baseline and maybe some 80s.” He added.

The challenges of an up and coming artist can be endless especially without maximum exposure, he emphasized and felt that is one thing other up and coming artists will agree with.

The young man reinforces his commitment to his art saying that the vision he has for himself is to keep going, “I see myself up there with the best Hip Hop artists in Africa and Europe and the more I work on my craft the clearer the vision gets.” He stated.
Mentioning artists he has worked with he counted Lioness, KP Illest, K'Chinga, The Boy Jay and a few others. “I was blessed with several chances to open for Good Weather Forecast (GWF), a fast growing German rock band.” Putting in that they are doing incredibly well across Europe and He is glad to be able to call them friends.

“Right now, I feel like AliThatDude from Black Vulcanite is and has been on top of his game.” He pointed out.

“For people out there that aspire to be musicians I say work on your craft, you may be good but you are not the best you can be.” He encouraged, “Work on what you have been blessed with and do not be afraid to share your ability.”
He added that it is best to be honest with yourself and not to pursue a talent that one doesn’t possess; but as an alternative try to hone and develop other talents in others areas of life.
“My last words to everyone would be to keep following what I am doing. I appreciate the support more than I can express it. Also, follow your dreams and work hard! Peace and love to you all.” He concluded.

The artist has a single which is a promotional song on soundcloud at https://soundcloud.com/officialskryptmusic/skrypt-champion. The song has over 800 listens and counting, which attest to the skills on the artist.
Skrypt was born in Namibia to Herero parents but he has spent quite an amount of his life outside of the country. Two things one couldn’t have guessed about the ‘Champion’ artist are that he is an introvert and used to play cricket.
After landing in Vienna, Austria and attending high school, he was able to make connections with the Indie label, Twenty Two Entertainment who ultimately signed him as a recording artist.
